It’s been some time

It happens from time to time that time will pass unnoticed. I've recently moved, and changed careers. These are two big changes that take time and can be stressful sometimes. Lindsay and I are now without room-mates, this is very important, because as much as we like the people we have lived with in the past, we – I at least – are much happier being able to be away from people when we can. Alone time is good time for the introverted. Solitude can be quite relaxing. I have a new job with a large computer shop in the city, and things are going quite well! The pace is invigorating, there is a tonne to learn, and the scope of work available is astounding. I get to fix things, which is always somewhat fun – diagnosing and troubleshooting are meditative. I get to teach classes, not very often right now, but I'm hoping to get some more experience. The first lesson I gave was introducing a person to their new product, I must say that helping a person learn and explore is a great feeling; it's difficult for me, because I am essentially at the same knowledge level as some of the people I'm teaching, but I think that this possibly makes it even more fun since the process becomes more about discovery than instruction.
